Part 2 of 2 - Finding Grounding and Wielding with Fierceness & Love: Expanding Our Ability to Practice In Intensity
This two-part series will offer reflections and practices for deepening capacity at this time of increased intensity. Many are finding their historical approaches to grounding, centering and wielding with skill, vigor and compassion to be taxed or outpaced with the onslaught of legislative changes, hairpin turns, shocking dismantlements, and scrambling to keep pace with it all.
Perhaps you have found your grounding and anchoring and are able to wield from there. If so, this series can help deepen that capable posture of tender fierceness. If you are reeling from the whiplash and churn of the moment, this era in our collective history, this series can support you to re-find your center and find a path to deepen and strengthen that posture individually and collectively, with time.
Part 2: November 20, 2025
For those who choose to continue, Part 2 will offer practice approaches from the presenter’s systems of practice. Some of the benefits of these practices include increasing our capacity to engage with intensity (with rigor and compassion™), and clearing blockages to healthy system flow. These practices will provide an entree to methodologies that may complement participants’ current approaches, and that participants may choose to continue or deepen after the sessions.
*NOTE: Session 2’s content builds on Session 1, and is dependent on having participated in the first session. Session 1 will be recorded for later viewing, but Session 2 will not, to support participant vulnerability and trying out practices.
This series continues and extends last year’s sessions with Dr. Sheryl Petty on The Spiritual and Energetic Dimensions of Equity-Embedded Systems Change (SED-EESC)™.

Equity-Embedded Systems Change (EESC)™
I’m excited to share more thinking building off of the Change Management and Deep Equity publication from earlier this year, in response to multiple requests. As the field of social change seeks to embed equity and justice more deeply within institutions, communities, and movements in support of our missions and a thriving, healthy planet — I’ve experienced a steady flow of inquiry into how to address the similar challenges change agents and systems are facing in this era. Stay tuned for other offerings delving into untangling many of the patterns and conundrums present in the social change and liberating justice fields :)…
